BARCELONA
BARCELONA IS the Catalonian CAPITAL of spain AND OF COuRSE HOME TO THE WORLD FAMOUS CAMP NOIR. I WENT TO BARCELONA ON A SHORT TRIP AND WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE CITY. IT'S NARROW STREETS AND AUTHENTIC SPANISH AURA MADE THIS A TRULY MONUMENTAL STAGE OF MY TRAVELS. LIKE ANY FAMOUS CITY BARCELONA IS COVERED IN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS YET I AIMED TO SHOW BARCELONA THROUGH THE EYES OF A LOCAL RATHER THAN A TOURIST.

whilst exploring i noticed a flag hung repetitively throughout Barcelona's residential streets. after a little research i discovered the flag is that of Catalonia, a once independent country which eventually became part of Spain through political marriage. after all these years people still fight for independence as Catalonia's wealthier cities such as Barcelona are used to vantage the Spanish economy.
